ISAAC ALBÉNIZ

    (1860-1909)

   Spanish composer of music, in Spanish "national style".
    child prodigy as composer and pianist; pupil of Liszt in
    Weimar; spent much of his later life in London and Paris.

Works include operas (two in English), songs, many piano pieces including
cycle IBERIA, and a celebrated TANGO.
